Very happy with my experience at Wimpole Clinic! I recently had a 1800 graft hair transplant, and from start to finish, the team was exceptional. James Walton ( clinic consultant ) made me feel completely at ease, explaining every step of the process and ensuring I was comfortable throughout.<br><br>The professionalism, care, and attention to detail were outstanding. I arranged an appointment in January 2025 ready to spend thousands on a hair transplant. Instead, the Consultant studied my hair and advised that I take hair growth pills for six months instead. Putting me way before their finances. The results have been amazing and I no longer need a transplant.<br><br>They didn't make any money from me but I will go out of my way to recommend these guys in the future.

Dear Management Team,<br>I am writing to formally share my experience as a patient under the care of Marie-Royce, Trichologist, and to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional level of care, professionalism, and early clinical insight I received.<br>I initially booked a trichology consultation because I was personally concerned about hair thinning and shedding. To most people, my hair appeared thick and healthy. I have naturally dense, coarse Italian hair with no visible recession. However, I had noticed a subtle reduction in density and ongoing shedding that did not feel normal to me, and I wanted a thorough and expert assessment.<br>During my consultation, Marie conducted an extremely detailed scalp examination, assessing my scalp row by row under dermatoscopy. She identified very early, subtle changes within certain areas of reduced density that raised concern for a possible early inflammatory or scarring alopecia. Although these changes were not obvious cosmetically, her attention to detail and clinical experience prompted her to recommend a scalp biopsy as a precautionary measure.<br>The biopsy results confirmed early lichen planopilaris. Both my GP and the dermatologist I was subsequently referred to expressed genuine surprise at how early the condition had been identified. They were clear that this early detection was critical and very likely prevented significant and irreversible hair loss. Immunosuppressive and medical treatment options were discussed and initiated promptly as a result.<br>While I awaited my NHS appointments, Marie also took the time to carefully guide me through supportive options, explaining what a dermatologist might recommend and how inflammation, stress, and nervous system dysregulation can play a role in hair loss conditions. She discussed holistic anti-inflammatory support, stress-modulating strategies, and supplements, as well as lifestyle factors, in a balanced and responsible way, always reinforcing the importance of medical oversight.<br>Importantly, she also recognised the role of chronic stress in my presentation and encouraged a more global approach to my health. Through these discussions, I later went on to receive an ADHD diagnosis, which has provided further clarity around my stress patterns and how they may have contributed to my hair loss. This insight has been genuinely life-changing.<br>I firmly believe that Marie’s early intervention, clinical diligence, and holistic understanding saved my hair from further damage. Her approach is professional, thorough, evidence-led, and deeply patient-centred.
