My day at the Wimpole Clinic in Harley Street went better than I could have ever anticipated. From the get go the staff there are quick to assist with making you feel comfortable and looked after. Their combined years of knowledge and expertise in the field add a sense of confidence, support and reassurance for the client, and this is quickly demonstrated in the procedure itself.<br><br>I would like to both wholeheartedly thank and commend my Surgeon Dr. Ulf, along with my four technicians - Reza, Annie, Adil and Ayesha who were there to support me throughout the process and make me feel safe and comfortable. Each one of you have contributed towards changing my life within the 8 hours I was at the clinic. I was truly impressed by the skills and techniques displayed and the services provided - both pre, during and post surgery. As an individual who suffers with anxiety, I was quite nervous on the morning of the procedure, however the team quickly relieved any initial worries I had and consistently checked in on me through the course of the day, offering me breaks throughout; this however was not needed because of how comfortable I was.<br><br>I would also like to give a thanks to my patient advisor Luxman, who from consultation to post surgery has been in communication with me to make sure I am okay and had the best results and overall experience possible. Luxman was the first person I had spoken to about my hair loss, which resulted in him, along with his team, putting together a personalised plan for me in order to regain my confidence, working on reconstructing my hair line, crown and temples for a youthful and natural look. From the get go I was reassured that I was making the right call and that if anyone was going to change the way I looked and felt for the better, it would be Wimpole.<br><br>All staff at the clinic, from advisors, surgeons and techs to receptionists, nurses, management and private drivers went beyond my highest expectations in regards to professionalism, knowledgeability and care. Throughout the process, you really can tell that these individuals care about you and keep your needs in their best interest.<br><br>The Clinic itself was very clean, ordered and professional and was a good indicator that I had come to the right place. In the morning of my arrival, we spoke about my hair loss journey, including what my expectations were and what I wanted out of my FUE transplant. This was met with extensive attention to detail both in the designing and practical phases.<br><br>I am now 5 days post-op and couldn’t be happier with my new hairline. Although the full results won’t be seen until around the year mark, so far I am very pleased with the outcome; the transplant has completely transformed the way I look and feel already and has exceeded my highest expectations all around. Like many people, I read countless reviews before my procedure — but most of them focused on the experience on the day rather than the long-term results. So this is my honest review nine months later, focusing on the outcome.<br><br>I was 27 when I decided to have a hair transplant. I’d been losing my hair for around eight years, mainly around my hairline and crown. It hit me hard. I work in the football industry and used to be a footballer, and when I was playing, my appearance really mattered to me. I loved my hair. Over time, though, it started thinning badly. I believe it’s genetic — my dad was losing his hair and my grandmother’s hair had become very thin too.<br><br>In football there’s always banter, and although it was meant as a joke, my hair was the thing people picked on. Even when you try to laugh it off, it still affects your confidence. Eventually I reached a point where I said to myself: enough is enough — I’m going to do something about this.<br>I booked a free consultation at Wimpole Clinic, not really knowing what to expect. I was incredibly nervous. During the consultation, I was introduced to Dr Moussa. He examined my hair, explained what I would need, and even drew on a proposed hairline so I could visualise the result. I was given a quote for my hairline and crown which felt fair — not cheap, but a price that reflected quality and professionalism.<br>I left feeling slightly overwhelmed by the number of grafts required, but also genuinely excited at the thought of having my hairline back. Motivated and ready for change, I booked my procedure for 14th May.<br><br>Before the surgery, I was given clear preparation instructions — including arranging transport home. I also suffer from scalp acne, so they provided treatment beforehand to manage that.<br>On the day of the transplant, 2,500 grafts were planned. Dr Moussa reassured me that his team would look after me — and he was absolutely right. The team were exceptional. One team member in particular, Billy, stood out. She was knowledgeable, experienced, kind, and genuinely cared about getting the best possible result. In fact, she felt I needed more grafts to achieve the best outcome, and they increased the total to 2,800 because, as she put it, “this needs to be done properly.”<br>After around eight hours, the procedure was complete. But they made it clear that this was only half the work — the other 50% was down to me. I had to follow strict aftercare instructions: spraying the area with saline every 30 minutes, sleeping upright with a neck pillow for several weeks, and carefully following the washing routine.<br>Whenever I had questions, Billy was only ever a call or message away. Because of my scalp acne, I experienced some ingrown hairs during recovery, but Dr Moussa and the team provided antibiotics and cream when needed. They also reassured me that I could come into the clinic anytime. There were occasions when I did, and even if they were in the middle of procedures, they would take time to check on me and help.<br><br>As for the results — I began noticing real growth around the six-month mark. They explained from the start that results vary from person to person and recommended taking finasteride, minoxidil, and collagen to support growth. I’ve been consistent with all three, and I still take them now.<br>At nine months, I couldn’t be happier. The results truly speak for themselves. The hairline looks completely natural — not harsh or straight like some of the transplants you see abroad. Most importantly, it doesn’t look like I’ve had a transplant at all.<br><br>I honestly can’t recommend Wimpole Clinic, Dr Moussa, Billy, and the team highly enough. They’ve not just restored my hair — they’ve restored my confidence.

I had my hair transplant on 17th September so 5 months or so. I wanted to wait until this stage as the early stages post procedure are the development stage. The results are absolutely brilliant and I’m super happy. My initial consultation with Husnain and Dr Moussa was very informative and realistic regarding grafts needed. On the day of the procedure I was made very welcome and the staff were amazing. Husnain was great during the aftercare with daily check ups. Also a mention to Dr Moussa and a female colleague who waited on until I got my cab home.Top class service.
I had my hair transplant on 17th September so 5 months or so. I wanted to wait until this stage as the early stages post procedure are the development stage. The results are absolutely brilliant and I’m super happy. My initial consultation with Husnain and Dr Moussa was very informative and realistic regarding grafts needed. On the day of the procedure I was made very welcome and the staff were amazing. Husnain was great during the aftercare with daily check ups. Also a mention to Dr Moussa and a female colleague who waited on until I got my cab home.Top class service.
Ok, so I’ve waited for the results (4 months) before I post this review, to give an honest and complete review.<br>I have to say, I wholeheartedly recommend the Wimpole clinic for the following reasons:<br>I could not have been taken better care of.<br>The gorgeous Elise is professional, experienced, honest, kind, caring, thorough and a credit to the clinic. She basically organises everything 🤣.<br>Dr Ricardo did my procedure - again very professional, knowledgeable, reassuring and experienced.<br>From the original consultation, again very honest and professional, everything went exactly as I was told.<br>So now? 4 months in? The results are still improving, but I have to say I am delighted with the results as they are now and they will continue to improve in the coming months.<br>Yes, there are clinics abroad - good and not so good - but I must emphasise, having the reassurance, check ups and care as back up in the UK, was invaluable.<br>So, huge thank you to the team at the Wimpole clinic. 😉👍🏽

From consultation to having the transplant and after care, Marie has been really easy and lovely to deal with. Big shout out to Dr Log and his team who done an amazing job during the hair transplant, providing constant updates and reassuring me during the procedure.<br>It doesn’t hurt anywhere near as much as you think, which was a concern going in prior to the transplant but the team helped ease and reassure me.<br>You receive clear instructions for aftercare and can ask questions any time via WhatsApp or email.<br>I would highly recommend using Wimpole clinic if you’re considering a hair transplant
