House of skincare

I cannot recommend House of Skincare and specifically Alexis enough. I am not what you would call a ‘high maintenance’ kind of gal, but years of spending time outdoors had left me with some broken facial veins that could no longer be ignored. After visiting another clinic and being truly terrified by a seriously ouchy trial session of electrolysis using a pen that appeared to be from the 1990s I was very apprehensive about trialling further treatments. However I was told by someone I trusted that Alexis was the best in the business. That turned out to be utterly true. I first visited for a skin assessment and a patch test for laser. This turned out to be not anywhere near as painful as it had been at the previous clinic; the machines here are the latest state of the art equipment . Alexis was patient, calm, knowledgeable and reassuring, despite my being a nervous wreck! My skin was specially photographed from a variety of angles and those images were used to demonstrate the measurable progress from appointment to appointment, which I loved. I’m not much of a skincare product fanatic, but am a total convert to the Allumier range, which after a lifetime of supermarket skincare I’m sure my skin is very grateful for. At my final appointment the improvement as shown in the photographs was such that I didn’t need any more treatment, so I had a lovely cleanse and moisturise and was sent on my way with no charge. A truly professional service from someone who really takes pride in their work.

Started going to Ellé at the start of the year as I have constantly had acne for most of my adult life. Ellé is very knowledgeable and welcoming. I have been using the products as prescribed and have seen improvements with my skin. Just got back from having a facial and it was soooo relaxing and my skin is glowing. Can’t wait to see my ongoing progress from the treatments. Would 100% recommend. ⭐

House of Skincare, and the girls that work there, are amazing. I've struggled with redness and blemishes for decades, it was my biggest insecurity and I've tried everything to sort it. After my consultation with Alexis, a few months of using my tailored skincare routine and some incredible facials from Ellé, my skin is pretty much cleared. I can't believe how good the results are and how much more confident I feel. I'm currently sat in the office with no foundation on, which is a huge deal for me as I wouldn't have dreamt of leaving the house without makeup on before. 10/10, I can't recommend HoS enough!

I’d been meaning to book in to see Alexis for a while and I finally made an appointment for a consultation. Such a lovely welcoming environment and Alexis is clearly very knowledgeable, explaining what I needed and devised a plan for me, as well as recommending certain products for my skin concerns. So happy I went and looking for to starting the process :)

I can’t say enough good things about Alexis and her wonderful team at House of Skincare; they are all simply fantastic, just like the treatments they provide. I stumbled across Alexis and her team on social media and I’m so grateful that I did. Not only do they take phenomenal care of your skin (mine has never EVER looked better!) but they take care of the person too! Never rushed and always considerate, caring and thorough. I look forward to the relaxing downtime just as much as the facial! I’d give 100 stars if I could!!

Today my daughter had her first skin consultation with Ellé. Due to her severe anxiety I accompanied her to the appointment and was overwhelmingly impressed with the kindness and professionalism with which we were both treated. Right from the initial telephone call, through to the end of our appointment, we felt in very safe hands. Even after leaving we have had communication with detailed instructions, information and genuine reassurance that my daughter's long standing skin condition can be successfully treated. We can't recommend House of Skincare more highly and want to say a huge thank you to you all.

I have just had my first consultation appointment at house of skincare and have been blown away by my experience. Lorraine was incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming as soon as you step foot in the door. Having never had a skincare routine before, I was rather apprehensive that it would be a bit of an information overload and lots of hard selling, I was completely and utterly wrong! Alexis has an enormous wealth of knowledge in skincare which she was able to articulate to give me a better understanding of what my skin needs and why, without making me feel overwhelmed. I feel that I truly learnt so much about my own skin in just an hour and have left feeling incredibly positive and excited about my journey moving forward with house of skin. Thank you both for making my experience so enjoyable, I can’t wait to come back already!

I have absolutely loved my laser experience with Elle, she has made me feel so comfortable! She is great at educating me about it too! In terms of the laser itself… I absolutely LOVE the difference it’s made! Not only has it reduced my hair growth massively but it’s smoothed areas and helped with some discolouration that I had on my underarms. It’s given me so much more confidence, and yes it does NOT hurt! Thank you Elle and the HOS team!

I’ve always struggled with my skin, and over the last few years it has gradually worsened with redness, spots etc and have tried so many products and facials. After getting in touch with Alexis, I had my initial consultation and immediately felt welcomed, heard and comfortable. After taking photos, it was so obvious that my skin was crying out for help. We created a regime that would be reviewed after 6 weeks. It has been the ultimate self-care treat every morning/evening!! I just had my review with Alexis and we were both amazed by the results, and the changes already in such a short space of time are unreal.
