Banning Dental- Lewisham

I’ve just finished my Invisalign treatment and couldn’t be happier with the results! A huge thank you to Dr. Carlos for his expertise and care throughout, and to Nafisah on reception for always being so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The whole team made the experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. I’d highly recommend this clinic!

Let's start with their new system. It doesn't appear to carry over patients' treatment histories, which is quite strange as they seem to assume you are a new patient.<br>My routine check-up with the dentist, Urwa, went well. However, when it came to replacing a lost filling over one of my implants, the experience became much more complicated.<br>As my implantologist has since moved to two different Banning practices, the staff could not determine when my implants had been fitted.<br>The receptionist then offered me an emergency appointment costing £90. I explained that implant check-ups were included as part of my contract and that I should not be charged for this appointment, but this point was not accepted.<br>Thankfully, Naf stepped in and managed to secure a free follow up appointment for me with one of the implantologists, which I appreciated.

When I moved from Italy to London, one of the things I never expected to struggle with was finding a dentist I could trust.<br>Back home, I had the same dentist for years. What makes her special isn’t just her knowledge or technical ability, It’s the way she approaches her patients.<br>She has never treated me like a number or a procedure. She takes the time to explain things properly, to discuss options, to be realistic when something is difficult, but also to look for solutions instead of immediately giving up.<br>There were times when I expected to hear “there’s nothing else we can do”, and instead she would say, “let’s see what I can do.”<br>That attitude means more than she probably realises.<br>After everything I went through, she helped me regain something I thought I’d lost: confidence. Confidence in dental treatment, confidence in asking questions, and confidence that the person sitting across from me genuinely wants the best outcome for me.<br>I’m grateful not only for the work she has done on my teeth, but for the care, patience and reassurance she has shown throughout the process.<br>I couldn’t recommend and thank Her enough 🌟

Another excellent appointment as always. Thr interior of the dental practice is clean and beautifully decorated. The receptionist was very helpful, and Dr Amira Ali was very professional, communicated clearly, worked efficiently, and made me feel at home.

I had the pleasure of being seen by Amira Ali, I had a hygienist appointment with her and she was very thorough, attentive, and took her time to ensure my teeth were very clean (as always). She also gave such great tips/advice on how to keep my smile clean and white. She is fabulous at her job and a very kind warm person overall. I am really happy with my results, I definitely 100% recommend Amira & look forward to going back in a few months time :) .

I have had Banning Dental for about four years now. It has been a wonderful experience. My implants and regular cleaning have been a very positive experience. The courtesy of the doctors and other staff members is one thing that can of itself anaesthetise your root canal. I will surely recommend them to anyone needing dental treatment.

Very welcoming, clean and bright & Modern. The staff were professional and friendly. I went for a consultation for implants. Im a very nervous patient so need sedation. The dentist was extremely nice and explained everything in detail, putting me at ease. The price match promise is a great touch along side fiance options. I attended my first appointment at the dental clinic in Lewisham regarding having 2 implants. The first thing I noticed was how clean, modern, and warm the clinic was. The staff were very professional and friendly. The x-ray was easy and only took minutes not the normal ‘uncomfortable biting down and turn your head this way and that way’. I stood still and X-ray machine moved around me. The actual consultation itself was straightforward the dentist explained the implant procedure in clear, concise language that was easy to understand. I then had a meeting with a really nice lady who talked me through the whole procedure again, how long it will take and my finance options. The whole process from start to finish was easy to understand including the healing time. I am really glad that I stayed locally instead of travelling across London. The actual cost of treatment was clear with no hidden charges I was not ‘advised’ to have additional treatments. I came in for implants and that is what I’m having. I have booked my second appointment to have the actual implant treatment in 2 weeks times. So far I have been given first class treatment - very happy with Bannings.

Really happy with my first visit to Banning. Very thorough inspection and x-rays at reasonable cost. Staff and dentist were very friendly and I felt completely at ease. I was given advice and did not feel pressurised to undergo further treatment. I will definitely use Banning again.
